Kitamaat Valley Education Society known as Kitimat Valley Institute is a non-profit society serving the communities of BC’s northern region. We are committed to providing training and education, and we partner with individuals, industries and institutions in developing qualified people. KVI Education Services: Education & Training is the cornerstone of our constitutional direction. We are committed to running scheduled classes to meet the needs of our students, clients and community. We develop or source courses required to meet your business needs. Tracking, certification, funding coordination and student record keeping are part of our service. Additionally, we provide proctoring, tutoring and essential skills testing / assessment services. KVI Business and Conference Center. Our Business Center is ideal space to support your next meeting or event. Local caterers provide meals in a clean and green environment. We have smart boards, video conferencing, 8 room sizes and functional space available for set up. Private parking within a secured and monitored facility. KVI Recruitment : KVES operates an Employment Agency. The purpose is to provide industry a workforce that is cable and able to work successfully on your job site. KVI workforce is local and has been in business for 10 years. We provide recruiting services for permanent, temporary, contract, and executive positions. We search for the construction, mining and service industry for all position types. Strategic recruiting for your business will save you time and money with priority for local and proven, skilled candidates. KVI Safety We are a third party administrator for all our Occupational Testing facility. Our site tests for Fit-For-Work Assessments, Audiometric, Respirator Mask Fit Test and Drug and Alcohol. Audiometric testing is done by our WorkSafeBC certified technicians.
