Overview

Every great endeavor begins with a question. For the Kellogg Center for Executive Women, this question was why are women significantly underrepresented on boards of directors and among CEOs and senior officers of public companies? And why is corporate America failing to capture and retain a significant percentage of its potential talent pool? Kellogg Professors Vicki Medvec, Wally Scott, and Lloyd Shefsky, and Kellogg Advisory Board member Sheli Rosenberg, began a dialogue about these issues. And with the support of Dean Emeritus, Don Jacobs, the Kellogg Center for Executive Women was born. Established in June of 2001 at the Kellogg School of Management, the Kellogg CEW is dedicated to helping senior-level women advance to top executive and board positions through: - Developing and delivering research-based, actionable programs that address the unique challenges facing these women - Providing executive women with powerful connections and heightened visibility - Expanding corporations’ perspectives and options for utilizing the talent of their senior women
