Along with the formal application, the IKBZ Insurance Co. was granted to start operating in September, 2012. IKBZ Insurance Co. became the first private insurance company to exist in Myanmar on the 12th September,2012. IKBZ Insurance continues to provide General and Life Insurance to the people of Myanmar with 21 offices around the country. KBZ Life is a spin off from the original IKBZ Insurance Co. and officially started operations on 16th September, 2019 under its own name.
