Overview
Kaye Implementation & Evaluation (KI&E) is a woman-owned, small business that conducts research and evaluation in the service of children, youth, and families. KI&E is a growing virtual team of dedicated professionals with experience and expertise in social service and social science. We are committed to supporting our partners to achieve their goals through high-quality evaluation of implementation and outcomes. Our collaborative approach to evaluation prioritizes transparency and meaningful engagement of our partner organizations and their stakeholders. We value diversity of experience, perspective, and expertise, and we strive to listen carefully to our partners to understand and represent important nuance and context. We make decisions together. Our partners actively participate in the processes of rigorous study design, instrument testing, interpretation of findings, and strategic dissemination. Members of our team have led studies at the national, state, and community levels, and we have teamed with public and private agencies, foundations, research institutions, and universities on a variety of projects, from small community-based needs assessments to large-scale effectiveness trials of statewide programs. Our work leverages knowledge and principles from implementation science, continuous quality improvement, human-centered design, capacity building, and culturally responsive equitable evaluation. KI&E’s current and most recent projects evaluate programs designed to prevent child maltreatment, keep families safe and together, promote kinship care and reunification, and support youth transitioning from foster care. We specialize in both assisting our partners to use evaluation and data to improve their practices and helping them prepare for and complete rigorous experimental and quasi-experimental studies of their programs, consistent with requirements of the Family First Prevention Services Act and standards of the Prevention Services Clearinghouse.
