We take groups (and individuals) to go kayak fishing at some of the most remote, unspoiled coastal locations to catch the enormous fish of the Panama fisheries. The two that we are recommending for the 2019/2020 season are 1) Our beach-front fishing lodge at Jaque, and the remote Darien province. The area has been made famous by the Tropic Star Lodge, the famous sport-fishing resort, and holds more IGFA game-fish records than anywhere else in the world. Hennie (owner) was the general manager of Tropic Star for nine years. 2) Bahia Honda is an saltwater inlet on the mainland near Isla Coiba. The whole region is protected by the giant Coiba Marine Reserve, which strictly regulates the activities of commercial fishing. This has allowed the fishery to thrive. The land is very sparsely populated and so there is a very low human inoact on the environment. For those that want a trip closer to Panama City, we offer packages to the Pearl Islands, which also has great fishing.
