Katris Architects was established by Nick and Peter Katris in 1979 and has been successfully operating since then. The company expanded to 25 staff members in the late 1980's to include the disciplines of Structural Engineering and Project Management, but have rationalised to a smaller number of staff members specialising in the field of Architecture and design. The firm has been involved in concept and design for all types of buildings. Over the years, those projects for which we have been responsible for include: Alteration and additions Single dwellings (residential) / Multi-dwellings (apartments) Mixed use / commercial developments Churches and Community Centres Primary and Secondary Schools Science/Library Buildings Aged Persons Hostels Business Clubs / Restaurants Factories The staff of Katris Architects consists of qualified “in house” Architects, draftspersons and administrative staff with a design philosophy surrounding aesthetics and pragmatics.
