KAHWA Entertainment is led by the NATIONAL AWARD winning Producer-Actor Sanjay Suri with over 18 years of experience in the Indian Motion Picture Industry who has been at the forefront of the current revolution of Independent Cinema in India. Sanjay has produced 8 feature films under various banners like Kahwa Entertainment, Anticlock Films & Four Front Films, including the path-breaking My Brother Nikhil that dealt with the Stigma of HIV and homosexuality for the first time in India. I AM Afia, Megha, Abhimanyu, Omar, was producer’s 3rd feature film that won 2 prestigious National Awards. It was one of India’s largest crowd-sourced film with over 400 co-producers from over 40 cities across the world. Producer’s 5th feature film project CHAURANGA (Four Colours), Winner Grand Jury Prize for Best Feature at IFFLA ( Los Angeles ) 2015, Winner Best Film at ‘MAMI’ The MUMBAI FILM FESTIVAL (INDIA GOLD) 2014, winner Incredible India Award as the best co-production project at Film Bazaar 2011 & the winner of Goteborg International Script development fund. Produced & released Onir’s 'SHAB' & Samir Soni's directorial debut 'My Birthday Song' (a psychological thriller) produced by Sanjay Suri & Samir Soni. Sanjay has participated in various International Co-Production markets & festivals. Sanjay has served as a Jury member at MAMI (Mumbai Academy of Moving Images, 2012) and as a Jury Member at the prestigious Dubai International Film Festival (2013) feature category in the ‘Muhr Arab’ Section. Kahwa ventured into sales & distribution with films of cinematic excellence. The team has been associated with films like the National Award winner & India’s Oscar selection “Village Rockstars” by Rima Das, National Award winner “Bulbul Can Sing’ by Rima Das. Team Kahwa released the Japanese Palme d’Or winner SHOPLIFTERS , Chinese film ASH IS PUREST WHITE , Egyptian award winning film YOMEDDINE and Cannes Jury Prize winner 'LES MISERABLES' in India.
