Overview

Even before humans discovered any other relationships or social living norms, there was one relationship that none could do without – the one with good food. Several millenniums later, the lifestyle advancements and discovery of new food items, ingredients and recipes has created a humongous diversity of cuisines that people all over the world relish. In the modern world, fine dining emerged as a holistic experience that brought together the best of food with best of service to create experiences that people constantly seek. As food fanatics and exponents of diverse Asian cuisines, the duo of Mohammad Basheer Ilyas and Suprio Banerjee joined hands two years ago with a desire to establish an experiential poolside café in Dubai. While that idea didn’t take shape, God was evidently cooking up something far more gourmet for them. They persevered with their passion and after thoroughly exploring the FNB segment they eventually zeroed in on a property in India to start a world class dessert café. However, as they were about to ink the deal and handover the advance, India underwent the pandemic lockdown Not failing to understand the divine message the second time around, they decided to move with the changed scenario, and devised a plan to create a fantastic cloud kitchen after the lockdown. Exemplifying the proverb ‘where there is will, there is a way’, they overcame several challenges and created a state-of-the-art cloud kitchen named ‘Jus Gourmet’ that features various brands specialising in distinct Asian, North-West Frontier and European cuisines.
