Overview

JPA Consulting was founded in 2022 in Düsseldorf as a cooperation between Jörn Amberger and Jan Angenendt. It is a platform for the development of new start-ups and business opportunities with a special, but not exclusive focus on the German market. JPA Consulting acts both independently and in close cooperation with a network of trusted partners from industry, financial institutions, consultants and entrepreneurs. Our network and the complementary experience of our team help us identify, develop and implement projects throughout their lifecycle. Jörn is an experienced entrepreneur who has successfully founded and underpinned a number of new companies, both organically and inorganically, over the past decade. These include Amberger Consulting GmbH ("AC"), based in Düsseldorf. AC is a fast-growing boutique consulting firm specialising in strategic consulting and transactions in the small and medium-sized enterprise ("SME") sector. Jörn has advised on a wide range of M&A transactions and restructurings in Germany, particularly in the care services and healthcare sectors. Jan has returned to his native Rhineland after 13 years in the UK working for the UK government, in consulting and for a private equity firm in London. He currently works as a Director for an Amsterdam-based private equity firm in Frankfurt, focusing on companies in the European TMT sector. In Germany, Jan successfully helped to launch the integrated fibre broadband developer and Internet service provider Deutsche Giganetz.
