Overview

JP Rata is a progressive firm of Chartered Accountants who help owners and directors to get more from their business by providing insightful and engaging accounts. We know how frustrating it is to find out too late that you have missed an opportunity, to go too long without realising there is a problem, or to find out at the last minute that you have a big bill to pay. We pride ourselves on our innovative and professional approach to giving our clients valuable information, that they can rely on. We work with many of our clients monthly to review their business performance and to make plans for the future. Many come to us because they want to grow, others want to put a robust system in place before they sell. Some are trying to recover from having suffered set backs. We have accountants that specialise in helping sole traders and start-ups to get their tax right, through to management accountants who sit on Boards and work alongside external auditors. Call us if you want to explore how you can make more from your business by expecting more from your accountants. Our firm is not a normal accountancy practice. We do prepare year-end accounts and tax returns, but we also work hard throughout the year to ensure you get that information when it is most useful to you. Our approach is to invest time in understanding how your business works and identify the key performance indicators that determine whether you will have a good or bad month. We then challenge you to plan the future and keep you focused on monitoring those few fundamental factors. A lot of people stay with their current accountant because moving feels too painful. This can lead to existing problems getting worse and trust breaking down. Accountants have so much experience that they can share with their clients when the relationship is healthy. They can do more than just save you money, they can help you make profit. Our clients love us for our professional attitude and friendly approach.
