The purpose of JAHA is to create a network between Jordanian American health care providers to help provide humanitarian work, provide education, and help members of the community in the United States in advancing and promoting overall health. Mission statement: Uniting Jordanian American providers to network, learn, educate, and promote overall health nationwide. Vision statement: Nashama making a difference Core Values: 1) Build a solid network 2) Make a positive impact 3) Promote overall health 4) Represent Jordanian heritage and culture Goals: 1) Create a network of Jordanian American healthcare providers that encourage and celebrate each other’s success. 2) Provide a mentorship program that promotes youth advancement in healthcare programs. 3) Educate members of the community in the United States to advance and promote overall health. 4) Sponsor a scholarship that will be awarded to one student in the United States that is enrolled full-time in an accredited healthcare program. 5) Establish science camps for the community to help promote science intellect amongst the youth of the community. 6) Eventually, organize a humanitarian trip to Jordan once per year or every other year to help serve underserved and underprivileged towns and villages by providing care and education. 7) Support and partner with other Jordanian American foundations.
