Jordan GBC is world leader NGO in the green building field. Jordan GBC attained a remarkable success in gaining an advanced position contributing effectively in developing, implementing and disseminating green building policies and culture worldwide and enhanced Jordan to be a global contributing leader as well in the green building field Jordan GBC is a Civil Society and cross-sector Non-profit, NGO Established in 2009, also a formal accepted authorized representative board member of the World Green Building Council and MENA Green Building Council in Jordan, and a part of a global network of more than 103 GBCs around the world. Our vision is To evolve and expand into a recognized regional leader in developing and implementing innovative green building practice. And our mission is to promote and advocate for the adoption of green built environment practice especially in the Jordanian building and construction sectors in all phases of the building process leading towards making green building a widespread reality in Jordan. The mandate of the Jordan GBC focuses on the built environment, involving neighborhood development and citywide connectivity for public transportation and infrastructure, including the waste hierarchy.
