Overview

WHY WE EXIST Through a variety of experiential programs, and advisory groups, our team equips John Carroll University students, faculty, staff and alumni, and a variety of Cleveland stakeholders, to confidently explore their possibilities. WHAT WE DO We are the leading organization inviting young people to rediscover what excites them and to develop the confidence to create a career that matters. We provide a home where we guide curious students as they identify and solve big problems and launch big solutions using their innate creativity and passion. Our program is built on three pillars: Experiential Learning, Social Innovation, and Women Entrepreneurship. Under our Experiential Learning pillar, we offer an entrepreneurship minor, a BA in Leadership & Social Innovation, and a Masters of Science in Innovation & Entrepreneurship. Under our Social Innovation pillar, we launched the JCU Food for Thought Food Buggy which is a student-run social venture, the JCU Neighborhood Project focused on sharing our resources with residents and business owners in Ward 6, and a Social Innovator in Residence program. Under our Women Entrepreneurship pillar, we launched the Dare to Dream Retreat and the Dare to Start Retreat, programs built by JCU students who identify as women that empower high school students who identify as women to live a big life and to dream even bigger by developing confidence, being vulnerable, and setting and pursuing powerful goals. We offer a wide variety of ways for young and senior professionals, creatives, entrepreneurs and leaders to collide, connect, and collaborate with JCU students and faculty.
