Overview

JCfitness is a professional personal training service in Edinburgh, Scotland. The approach behind our service is to use evidence-based research to guide our instruction and prescription. We feel that only by using an evidence-based approach can we deliver the highest standard of service and quality of instruction for our clients. Our team of personal trainers are brought together from different professional backgrounds including registered physiotherapists, strength and conditioning coaches, nutritionists and exercise scientists. A commonality we all share is a strong belief in research guided instruction and prescription in both exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle practices. The health and fitness industry is saturated with misinformation and misguided instruction. We appreciate the difficulties people have in finding reliable sources of information and we pride ourselves of being capable of delivering accurate instruction and guidance. We place equal emphasis on exercise, nutrition and lifestyle practices, which all play a great role in health and the acceleration of health and fitness related goals. There are unique and distinct differences between each person, therefore our prescription is personalised to each person. Identify the unique needs of each client makes our service more specialised and importantly more personal and individualised. It is our objective to set a new standard of personal training in Edinburgh, Scotland to help people not only reach their goals, but also acquire the foundational knowledge to sustain their goals and become independent in their own health practices.
