Overview

Jan Kalyan Maha Samiti (JKMS) was founded in 1988 by a group of concerned social sctivists who have devoted around a decade in voluntary social service. Experience thus gained provided valuable insights into different development issues at grass root level. Gradually it was felt that a more structured intervention needs to be taken up for addressing different development barriers. As a result JKMS was registered under Society Registration Act 1860 in 1991. The organisation is also registered under FCRA.
