Jamshedpur Football Club is an Indian professional football club based in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. The club competes in the Indian Super League, the top tier of Indian football. It started its journey in 2017–18. The club was established on 12 June 2017 when Tata Steel won the bidding rights for one of two expansion spots in the Indian Super League. The club is a subsidiary of Tata Steel, a group company of the Tata & Sons.
