The JFDCo came in being in 2015 when it staged the first ever Jamaica Food and Drink Festival, an annual event which has since grabbed international attention and recently earned the coveted World Culinary Awards titles for both the Caribbean’s Best Culinary Festival and the World’s Best Culinary Festival 2021. The Jamaica Food and Drink brand evolved further in 2021 with the launch of the Jamaica Food and Drink Kitchen, the nation’s first ever experience kitchen, a move which offered unique culinary and dining events and reinforced the narrative around ‘cool’ food experiences in Kingston.
