Overview

Jadavpur University Science Club is a relatively new club run by the students of Jadavpur University. Though it is not an old club, it has left a strong impression in its short duration. We serve as the gateway to innovation. We encourage young budding minds to come up with new ideas and implement them, for we believe that science is just philosophy unless it is implemented or put to some use. We conduct regular sessions where we encourage and groom people so that they can make their own robots and take part in various prestigious science fairs, techfests and other competitions across the nation. Many of the members of the club have represented the University in various Science Fairs and Tech Fests and have brought us glory. We also arrange Jontro Tontro, a robotics competition for the students of first year where they come up with marvelous ideas to amaze us every year. Apart from that we organize many workshops and events like TechKnow Cradle through out the year. In a word it is not just a club. It is a lifestyle for the geeks.
