i-Zen by combining existing technology and IoT principals managed to create a self-powered water consumption measuring system that reports real-time data to a cloud platform accessible by the end-user through a mobile application. Which also provides push notifications about potential leakages (78% success rate). The company was created by high school students to participate in the Junior Achievement Greece (A member of JA Worldwide) annual competition and was subsequently dissolved one year later as per regulations.
