From year R to year 9, the IVA Global curriculum is a blend between the South African IEB and the British curriculum. At the end of year 9, students decide whether they wish to pursue the international GCSE and AS/A Level route or end their schooling career with a South African national senior certificate through the IEB or complete the international secondary certificate which is recommended for students outside of South Africa but looking to study at a South African university.
