Foundation "ITS turismo e attività culturali" (tourism and cultural activities) is a highly specialized technology school, created to meet the demands of companies by training knowledgeable professionals with new and advanced technical and technological skills. In 2016, thanks to the will of the Piedmont Region and the Ministry of Education, the Foundation ITS Turismo e attività culturali was founded, with the aim of forming the key figures of a tourist market in continuous evolution. The courses are two years in duration, free of costs and are aimed at graduates of all ages. The first course will form the figure of "higher level technician for the promotion and marketing of tourism and cultural sectors". The curriculum it is complemented by more traditional subjects such as economics, hotel and management, customer management and reservations, and is inclusive of innovative modules: on-line marketing, the use of Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality in tourism supply service. At the end of the ITS course a higher technical diploma (level V EQF) is awarded, after passing the State examination. The diploma obtained is worth university credit points (CFU) in the case of continuation of their studies.
