Italia Africa Business Week

Overview

Concept The first “Ministerial Conference Italia-Africa”, organized in Rome the 18 of May 2016 by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, stressed the need to create a stable link between the two worlds. In order to give continuity to this new process, we propose a commercial and business Forum, the Italia Africa Business Week (IABW), which will have as goalto facilitate the knowledge between the economic, commercial and financial world of Africa and of Italy. This knowledge can only create better relations, help the creation of networks and create a shared growth of the two parts in a win-win mode. The headline we choose for the first edition of Italia Africa Business Week is: ItaliAfrica: growing together First Italy-Africa Business Week. Knowledge, connections, exchange, sharing, development, strategy, relation, information, culture (of growth), process, investments, returns, entrepreneurship, market, communication, diaspora, bridge, young, technology, diplomacy, methodology… will be the keywords of the first edition of IABW. The Aims - To make better processes/models of economic, commercial and technological cooperation and to start new ones - To create new places of work (for Italy and for Africa) - To build and to be an economic and human bridge between Italy and Africa for a shared growth - To help the transfer of Italian know how and to develop the culture of lifelong learning - To help and facilitate the partnership between Italian and African businesses - To improve the role of the diaspora in the economic and commercial relations between Africa and Italy - To increase the mutual understanding of the two worlds (cultural, economic, social, environmental…) - To develop and communicate the Italian industrial culture in the African markets - To create and became a platform of connection between entrepreneurs and professionals of the African diaspora in Italy.
