Engineering Career Services at Iowa State University provides resources, tools, and events for Cyclone Engineers (current and alumni) to engage with employers, with the ultimate goal of landing the professional outcome of their choosing. Staff assists students and alumni with all aspects of the career development process (including job seeking, application materials, preparing for career fairs and interviews, evaluating offers, and more). ECS strives to create and maintain meaningful connections with quality engineering employers through various on-campus recruiting events-- including hosting some of the largest engineering career fairs in the nation, providing in-person and virtual recruitment support, and offering direct access to Cyclone Engineers through our career management system, CyHire. We believe that one of the best ways to learn is by doing. Our team coordinates experiential education opportunities (internships and co-ops) to allow ISU Engineers to take the theory of the classroom and put it in practice!
