Overview

Audiovisual is our game. TV. Movies. Internet streaming. InterZone has several projects in development, including a biopic of a famous Irish revolutionary of the early 20th century. But we want to make TV movies before all that. Which is why we are focused on filming our attempts on powerboat speed records, between Miami and Bimini Island and from Monte Carlo to St Tropez, as well as a documentary series on offshore powerboat racing from its earliest days. Back in the day, our writer/founder Basil Miller tracked down a notorious criminal mastermind to get his story. He ended up writing a screenplay about him. That screenplay is now one of interZone Pictures’ slate of projects. It’s the story of a Northern Ireland gun-runner and drug trafficker who was well known for escaping the forces of law and order in at least half a dozen countries in the 1970s and 80s. Miller plans a major rewrite to make it edgier, darker and more resonant with the second decade of Century 21. Another is about an early 20th century rebel during Ireland’s struggle for independence. We hope to see it in production during 2016, a hundred years after the Easter rebellion in Ireland began a five-year war against the British Empire which ended with British retreat in 1921 And there’s another, a dark and dystopian vision of a Europe of the near future — but it’s essentially a detective story about what happens when a man discovers his best friend is dead, and he can’t accept it is suicide. For TV, we are aiming at the US audience with three documentaries on offshore powerboat racing, and streaming three attempts on well-known speed records. OUR SLATE TV: Three documentaries on offshore powerboat racing TV & LIVE STREAMING: Speed record runs, starting with Miami-Bimini-Miami FEATURE FILMS: Land and Blood — biopic of famous Irish rebel Unusual Suspect — true story of notorious Irish arms smuggler and conman Spare Parts — dystopian SF drama in Europe's near future (All working titles)
