Overview
The International Junior Golf Academy (IJGA) is the premier destination for middle and high school golfers seeking a competitive advantage over their peers. IJGA's unique programs deliver customized golf training, tour competition, performance training, character building and an elite college preparatory education in a close, family environment in Hilton Head, South Carolina. IJGA's mission is to train junior golfers for success in tournament golf and beyond. Through our supportive and competitive environment, students develop the critical qualities of commitment, goal setting and a consistent work ethic to best impact their academics and golf careers. The International Junior Golf Academy opened its doors with an enrollment of six students in 1995. By 2000, the Academy had grown to the point that a housing campus was needed. In 2004, the program reached 100 students and now hosts over 140 full-time students. IJGA boasts nearly a 100% college placement rate with students earning over $51 million in scholarships. Alumni have attended schools such as Georgia Tech, Princeton, Dartmouth, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, Notre Dame, Yale, University of Alabama, University of Oklahoma and Boston College, just to name a few. Additionally, they've gone on to have successful careers on the PGA, LPGA and European Tours.
