Founded in 1990, International Journal of Mining Science and Technology (IJMST) (ISSN 2095-2686; CN 32-1827/TD) is a bimonthly open access journal published in China and abroad, under the supervision of the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China and sponsored by China University of Mining and Technology. IJMST publishes original achievements in the world’s cutting-edge research fields involving mining related disciplines, and welcomes article submissions dealing with • Mining Engineering • Mine Safety Science and Technology • Mineral Processing • Geomechanics and Geoengineering • Geological Engineering • Mining Environment and Sustainable Development The IJMST Editorial Board is composed of 73 members from 19 countries, including Australia, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Germany etc., and the proportion of international editorial board members has reached 82.4%. IJMST is supported by the Society of Mining Professors (SOMP), and included in many internationally important databases and search systems, such as Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE), Ei Compendex, Scopus, Chemical Abstracts in the United States, Abstracts Journal in Russia, Cambridge Scientific Abstracts in the United States, Coal Abstracts in the United Kingdom and China Science Citation Database. According to the 2022 Journal Citation Reports (JCR) released by Clarivate Analytics, IJMST ranks in the Q1 area of JCR with the impact factor of 7.670, taking the 1st place in the Mining & Mineral Processing Category. Meanwhile, the Citescore2022 released by Scopus for IJMST is 8.1, showing that the journal ranks top 5% internationally, and the 1st in China.
