Overview

International Elevator and Escalator Symposium is organised by Liftinstituut Solutions B.V. and Elevator World Inc. organisers of the symposium are fully independent, well-known companies that have many years of experience in the lift market. International Elevator and Escalator Symposium will open its doors in Istanbul on 15th – 16th November 2018. The historic yet modern city that blend East and West will host the inaugural two-day event. We invite professionals from the elevator and escalator industry, architects, developers and owners to our excellent program covering the topics of safety and new technologies in vertical transportation. Presentations will be offered by international experts, ensuring an exciting platform for discovering new technologies and meeting with professionals. Additionally, IEES offers an opportunity for technology companies to show their new projects and product details. The International Elevator and Escalator Symposium is proud to donate a portion of the proceeds of this event to the Elevator Escalator Safety Foundation (EESF), the leading resource for educational programs that teach children and adults how to properly ride elevators, escalators and moving walks. EESF is a nonprofit organization founded in 1989 in the United States by the National Elevator Industry, Inc. (NEII®), the National Association of Elevator Contractors (NAEC), NAESA International and Elevator World, Inc., the leading international industry trade publication. EESF’s main programs include Safe-T-Riders, which is for children in second grade and includes activities that can be downloaded from the program’s own website, www.safetyriders.org. Rise Up, Safe Rider is for college and university students, and A Safe Ride is for older adults.
