Overview

The master of laws programme Advanced Studies in International Children’s Rights is a small-scale, English language programme aimed at talented students and (legal) professionals who wish to specialise in the area of international children’s rights. The programme offers substantive courses on highly topical and global issues, including migration and children’s rights, child protection, economic, social and cultural rights of children, children and the justice system, children and private international law, general measures of implementation & the role of non-state actors and children’s rights and digital technologies. Moreover, there is a specific module on the enforcement and monitoring of children’s rights, including site visits and courses on children’s rights litigation, international and national monitoring and domestication of children’s rights.
