Overview

A legacy was established in 1925 when Ahmed Husain Agha - The 1st Muslim Architect of the Sub Continent was given charge as the First surveyor of Karachi. Karachi had already introduced herself to the world as a premium business city with a hustling bustling harbor. Ahmed Husain Agha took it upon himself to use the city canvas and reintroduce Mughal era architecture around the city. Mohatta Palace, the original KMC building, Hindu Gymkhana and many more projects were constructed under his wings as the principle Architect. Kazim Husain Agha, his son, continued his legacy and established International Building Industries (Pvt) Ltd in 1969. The idea to keep building Karachi was the core mission of the company and after years of planning, mega projects were launched in the heart of Karachi. Kazimabad, spread out over 40 acres in the heart of Karachi’s Model Colony, 2 min distance from Karachi Airport; and Gulistan e Kazim, spread out over 106 acres, in the private sector of Surjani Town; One of Karachi’s first modern private societies where city living was merged with comfort, modernity and security.
