Overview

International Association of Sport and Leisure Infrastructure Management (IASLIM) is non-governmental and non-profit international organization and movement, established to promote sustainable development and improve management of sport and leisure infrastructure worldwide.  The Association has 228 members in 36 Countries. These are firms, public institutions, universities, research & educational institutions, ministries, municipalities, regional and local communities, international experts.  The Mission of the Association is development of a network of organizations, which plan, build, manage and maintain sport and leisure infrastructure and/or offer sport, leisure and health programs and services.  The main goals are: (1) new phylosophy of physical (movement) culture for healthy life for all people, (2) sustainable development of local communities, sport, leisure and infrastructure, (3) introduction of economical and efficient “social” management of sport and leisure infarstructure, (3) implementation of new “green” technologies, (4) development of innovative physical activity, sport and leisure programs for all people and (5) sport industry growth and creation of new jobs.  The Program of the Association includes: (1) Educational program “International School of Sport and Leisure Infrastructure Management”, (2) consultancy in the fields of “Sport for All”, “Evaluation of investments and management of sport and leisure infrastructure” and “International Sport Industry Networking”, (3) standardization and certification of sport and leisure center management, (4) organization of international conferences, seminars and training courses.  The Association established partnerships and cooperation with International Associations, National Organizations, Governments, Universities, Business Schools, Research Institutes, Experts and Professionals to accomplish its main goals and the program.
