Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport was founded in 1931 as a small-scale airport for handling light aircrafts. 90 years later, it is an up-to-date airport on the Eurasian continent. NQZ airport has capability to receive all types of aircraft without any limits. Development of NQZ airport is carried out in accordance with international standards of IATA and ICAO. It is also a member of the international organization Ground Handling Council (GHC) IATA. Locating in the middle of Eurasia, airport provides favorable conditions for cooperation with new airlines, both cargo and passenger. NQZ Airport is certificated IIIA category of ICAO standards: modern equipment gives possibility to dispatchers of the tower to identify and escort aircraft and special techniques on the flight field, which screens on the monitor. This provides safety of traffic on the aerodrome when visibility is low.
