Sudan Chapter aims to empower accountants and financial professionals in Sudan to develop and improve their skills through the CMA (Certified Management Accountant) And CSCA (Certified in Strategy and Competitive Analysis) designation and maintain their financial and management accounting competence through continuing professional education. The first CMA holder in Sudan was in 2002, ever since then the numbers have been increasing. The Chapter’s main goal is to carry out for professionals and local IMA members (including universities, employers, and training providers) programs and activities such as, Continuing professional education (CPE) programs, Training and other initiatives, Networking activities, Advocacy of the highest ethical business practices and Community service programs. As volunteers in this chapter, we take it as our mission to support, advance and elevate management accounting knowledge in Sudan through: Helping certify new members and students Educating local members in regular top-quality events. Connecting at valuable networking events. As well as helping build and sustain a volunteer leadership pipeline into the future.
