Overview

“Institut Futur“ is the name of the division Education and Futures Research at the Freie Universität Berlin. The institute was founded in 2000, based on the former division Environmental Education. Since then, its focus has been on three core areas: 1) Futures Studies based on Social Science, 2) transformation in the education system, with a special focus on Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and 3) research on the transfer of knowledge and innovation.
