Overview

The Indo-Caribbean Society (ICS) was established to build the connections between the present and future economic, social and cultural environments. It encourages the growth of interdisciplinary and cross-cultural research. ICS intends to host a series of seminars, conferences and events that will provide a global forum for the exchange and dissemination of knowledge and ideas. This project was initiated by a team from the Texila American University and interest groups from the Caribbean region. AIMS: To create awareness about the heritage between the Indian and Caribbean communities, especially, among the younger generation. To promote Goodwill, Friendship and Unity among the Indian and Caribbean communities, and To organize social, educational, health and cultural activities to make learning come alive.
