ONLINE - DIPI COURSE : INDIAN PLASTICS INSTITUTE as a part of its education initiatives, and training & manpower development programs has designed a part-time education course leading to Diploma of Indian Plastics Institute (DIPI). This course is designed to cater to the needs of technical manpower at manager / supervisory levels /new entrepreneur of the fast-growing plastic & allied industries DIPI Course Content & Subjects: Paper 1: Polymer Science & Technology Paper 2: Processing of Plastics Paper 3: Product design & Design of Molds and Dies Paper 4: Industrial Management The participants will be trained & exposed in the understanding of: β’ Plastic Materials their Properties, Applications & Limitations. β’ Manufacture of Plastic Raw materials and End Products. β’ Polymer Additives & Compounding. β’ Processing Equipment, Tooling & Processing Techniques. β’ Plastic Product design. β’ Mould / Die design & Fabrication & simulation. β’ Testing & Evaluation of plastic materials and end products. β’ Industrial Management The highlights of this course include: β’ Faculties from eminent universities, Industry Stalwarts, and Professionals will be training the students. β’ 300 hours course (Theory 225 Hours and Practical 75 Hours) including Theory, real-time assignments & practical exposure. β’ A YouTube Video and or online Industry video on Identification of common polymers by simple methods, & practical exposure to Testing & Analysis of plastics (with a copyright act 1957) β’ IPI will conduct examinations every year on an India basis in the month of June in all four subjects. Successful candidates will be awarded the DIPLOMA OF INDIAN PLASTICS INSTITUTE. Certificate of participation and successful course completion awarded to candidates who choose not to take up the examination on submission of the required class assignments. The course commences from 3rd or 4th week of August 2021 to July 2022 followed by DIPI Course Examination
