India Craft Bazaar is a social entrepreneurial mission that was started to help grassroots entrepreneurs and innovators. We believe, by right mix of information technology and human centred design, we can find solution for the grassroots entrepreneurs to leapfrog into the digital age, where, coming out of anonymity, they can showcase their products and skills to the world outside their villages and compete for their rightful share in the global markets. We have created an online marketplace for Ethnic Indian Crafts, so that the artisans can sell their product directly to the consumer and consumer can easily check the authenticity or trace the origin of the product they are buying. Thus both the consumer and the producer get their interests protected and in the process the the art and craft heritage of India gets a positive thrust to grow. In other words, we are working towards connecting Make in India with Digital India; which will enable the business to discover and invest in Bharat; the real heart of India.
