The Independent Health and Aged Care Pricing Authority (IHACPA) is an independent government agency established by the Commonwealth as part of the National Health Reform Act 2011. We assist the Australian Government to fund hospital and aged care services more efficiently by providing evidence‑based price determinations and pricing advice. Our vision is for all Australians to have fair access to transparent, sustainable and high-quality health and aged care.
