Indústria Fox was founded in 2009 in order to operate South America’s first state-of-the-art recycling facility for refrigerators and freezers. The company’s commercial focus is climate protection by reducing greenhouse gas emissions associated with irresponsible end-of-life management of cooling and freezing appliances. Based on its high-tech recycling facility, Indústria Fox produces recycled materials and offers end-of-life management services in the form of refrigerator exchange and waste recycling programs. As the first South-American company implementing the Swiss Charter, Indústria Fox has been chosen as the pioneer project operator under the Swiss Climate Protection Initiative (SCPI). We are proud to have been entrusted funds from the SENS International foundation and the Swiss Agency for Economic Development & Cooperation (SDC) in order to pursue our environmental, social, and economic development strategy. Via its Swiss associate Fox & Earth Industries AG, Indústria Fox has access to an international network of recycling technology providers, raw material marketing expertise, plant management tools, and human resources.
