Overview

Impact Institute for Research is a citizens’ association established by a group of researchers in Skopje in 2014. Impact focuses on conducting research, implementing projects and promoting tools that foster democratic governance, tackle inequality, and improve the research capacity in the field of social sciences. Impact’s activities are carried out independently and collaboratively with other researchers, activists, organisations and institutions. In doing so, the core values that guide our work are impartiality, integrity, reflexivity, transparency, accountability, inclusiveness and solidarity. The target groups of our work include all citizens, regardless of belonging and orientation, other civil society organisations, media, as well as institutions on local, regional and national level. Vision Impact’s vision is to contribute to a more democratic, equal and just society in the Republic of Macedonia through research projects, new tools, and public policy advocacy.
