Overview

At the IEEPA, we are dedicated to promoting energy conservation, environmental protection and develop China’s ecological, sustainable economic development so as to improve both the economy and the environment. International exchange and project cooperation is at the heart of our work. We work closely with the Chinese Government, the UN and others, business enterprises, and research institutions to establish a platform for international cooperation, introduce advanced capital and technology transfer, and seek effective solutions to shared problems. Every year we organize the "World Economic and Environmental Conference ", to set up channels of knowledge sharing, experience exchanging and results promotion. The Association provides policy analysis, industry analysis, standard research, application and popularisation, technical demonstration and project evaluation. We advise, and submit relevant reference reports to the government as well as working to inform enterprises of macro-regulation goals and policy priorities of the government in a timely and accurate manner so as to help promote prospective and advanced studies on energy conservation and environmental protection whilst providing guidance for major decision-making efforts by government and enterprises. IEEPA also established Special Working Committee for Energy Conservation, which is engaged in enhancing energy efficiency, popularising integrated energy efficiency solutions, in doing so giving technical guidance and support to energy conservation and emission reduction.
