The IDRiM Society is an international academic society of researchers, experts and practitioners from more than 30 different countries working in the disaster risk management field. IDRiM was founded in 2009 in Kyoto, Japan, with the mission of promoting knowledge-sharing, interdisciplinary research and implementation science about efficient and equitable disaster risk reduction. The Society publishes the international, peer-reviewed and open access IDRiM Journal (www.idrimjournal.com).
