Overview
"Students as part of the solution." #ICANHELP is creating a generation that’s not only tech-savvy but knows how to use Digital4Good. MISSION Empower Digital Changemakers + Promote Digital Safety + Celebrate Youth Innovation Negative online material and behavior are linked to higher levels of stress, anxiety, depression, and suicide in kids and teens. Just because students understand the mechanics of social media and digital technology doesn’t mean they know how to deal with issues like cyberbullying, harassment, inappropriate content, privacy, and safety. #ICANHELP’s mission is to empower students with the tools and training they need to protect themselves, develop their digital media toolkit, and use social media and other digital technologies positively. Through a partnership with students and educators, #ICANHELP delivers powerfully-relevant programming and curriculum to build supportive school communities and develop the next generation of digital leaders and changemakers who use Digital4Good. VISION Our vision is simple, yet ambitions: to grow #ICANHELP and Digital4Good into an internationally-recognized educational nonprofit whose work transforms how current and future generations of students engage with digital media and technology in everyday life to make a positive impact--big or small.
