Iu + Bibliowicz Architects LLP is a creative, full service, New York based, architectural and interior design firm founded by partners Carolyn Iu, AIA and Natan Bibliowicz, AIA in September 1999. Ms. Iu and Mr. Bibliowicz’s professional relationship began at the New York office of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, where they worked together on many projects between the years of 1981 and 1992. The firm’s clients include Performing arts and education institutions, Fortune 500 companies, financial institutions, hospitality and retail establishments. The collaboration of Carolyn Iu and Natan Bibliowicz is based on the shared belief that Architecture can be an instrument to enhance the quality of life by using construction, form, composition, materials, light and color to create functional and human environments. Educated in the modernist philosophy, the partners of Iu + Bibliowicz Architects believe that architecture and interior design should embrace technology, but that the role of technology in design must coexist with human need, sensitivity to the environment and diversity in cultural traditions and taste. In practice, Iu + Bibliowicz Architects strive to orchestrate the elements of design and construction to meet all their client’s goals: in design; in function; schedule and budget.
