Overview

IAESTE is a voluntary organization run by students whose goal is to establish a better connection among companies, universities and students. We offer a wide range of services for companies as well as research institutes in Austria in order to get in touch with students of technical and natural sciences. The LC BOKU resides since 1991 in the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences. From here we realize around 20 internships every year Since IAESTE is a non-profit organization, each and every internship is the result of the work of many motivated and dedicated members. In Austria, IAESTE can be found at six different universities, with BOKU being one of them. The voluntary work in addition to our studies offers many challenges and chances for personal development. We know how important it is to network around the world as well as to develop trendsetting ideas and innovations. But teamwork, teambuilding and fun are major components of our activities. IAESTE EXCHANGE PROGRAM IAESTE is an organization operating globally. With the IAESTE exchange program, we offer Austrian students of technical and natural sciences an internship abroad and vice versa an internship in Austria for foreign students. The system is based on a 1:1 exchange. As such, we promote an international understanding and enable students to continue their education. After completing an IAESTE internship, many of these students become valuable specialists and executives. Our service is completely free of charge. IAESTE CAREER FAIRS IAESTE career fairs enable companies to present themselves and their work at the Technical University of Vienna, Graz University of Technology, Montanuniversität Leoben and the Johannes Kepler University of Linz. At the same time, they get in touch with the students and professors of these universities, as well as their scientific coworkers.
