Hockey is one of the fastest and most spectacular team sports in the world, and its popularity in Hungary has been growing steadily for twenty years, and its popularity is growing globally. The Hungarian Hockey Association, as the top Hungarian organization in the sport, has more than 100 member organizations, organizes 4,000 thousand matches a year, while 9,000 certified athletes compete in hockey. Both the Hungarian women's and men's teams belong to the world elite.
