Overview

The Human Services Skills Organisation (HSSO) has been created to drive positive change and give voice to Australia’s human services employers regarding skills, training and workforce development. The HSSO wants to ensure that our human services and other related sector employers are equipped with a diverse, skilled and adaptable workforce that meet care and support needs now and into the future. We want Australian employers and industry to have a bigger role in the national vocational education training (VET) system. Through industry engagement and employer connections, we will influence to improve and ensure closer partnerships with the Australian VET sector so it is responsive to industry’s needs, giving our workforce the chance to get the right job and build a fulfilling career.
