The Humane Society of the Treasure Coast is the leading advocate for pets along the Treasure Coast. 'HSTC' is a private non-profit agency that is NOT affiliated with any other humane society, nor the Humane Society of the United States. We are an open admissions shelter that cares for more than 5,000 animals each year and rely solely on private donations. We do not euthanize to make space, or because of breed, and our shelter pets do not have time limits on how long they stay in our care. We do so much more than adopt out animals. We offer low cost spay/neuter services, obedience, pet therapy and agility training, community education programs, disaster preparedness, and much more. We operate two thrift stores and partner with Martin County Animal Control for our community TNVR program. We partner with more than 20 other local non-profits to support and enrich the lives of our neighbors.
