Since 1913, the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia (HSNEGA) has worked to create better futures for at-need companion animals. A private, non-profit 501(c)3 selective admission shelter, the mission of the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia is “Helping animals and people live better. . .together.” We accomplish our mission by providing: - Humane Education - Placement of companion animals - Low-cost veterinary services - Community Outreach - Pet owner resources - And more... HSNEGA’s vision is a community where every animal is treated humanely. HSNEGA receives no financial support from local, state or federal governments and relies on donations from individuals and corporate supporters, grants, and special events to help fund our efforts.
