Houston Interactive Marketing Association (H/IMA) The Houston Interactive Marketing Association's mission is to grow Houston businesses through interactive strategies. It is Houston's premier organization dedicated to serving the educational and professional needs of the interactive marketing community. Founded in 2005 by leaders from leading Houston-based interactive agencies, Houston IMA's primary goal is to increase the awareness of and utilization of modern interactive marketing services and techniques. H/IMA is not limited to advertising and marketing in the traditional sense. It also places a strong emphasis on how technology can be used to foster stronger relationships with existing and future customers, how to use technology to build effective marketing/PR campaigns, and offers career development opportunities for professionals in marketing, PR, graphic design, site development and user experience design.
