Íslandshótel is a hotel chain in Iceland operating 17 hotels all around the country. Six of the hotel properties are located in Reykjavík, four in the West Region, two in North Iceland, one in Eastfjords and four in South Iceland. Our family of brands includes Grand Hotel Reykjavik, Hotel Reykjavík Centrum and Fosshotel. Grand Hotel Reykjavík is a four star superior hotel offering 311 comfortable rooms and 11 meeting and conference halls in a variety of sizes. The hotel conforms to the Nordic Ecolabel criteria for hotels, guaranteeing that the highest standards regarding environmental measures, health, functionality and quality are met. Hotel Reykjavík Centrum is a 4 star hotel located in one of Reykjavík's oldest streets in a historical building at the heart of the city. The hotel is composed of three 18th century style buildings that create an atmosphere of true Icelandic charm and hospitality. Our fifteen Fosshotel properties are all around Iceland and three are in Reykjavík, including Fosshotel Reykjavík which is currently the largest hotel in Iceland. The "foss" in the name means waterfall. Íslandshotel are part of Vakinn, the official quality and environmental system within Icelandic tourism.
